Using an Install Count or Requesting a Reset Code

Follow the instructions below to obtain your Serial number and Validation code.
  1. If your display is too small to let you see this window when you open other programs, please print these instructions by selecting File | Print... in your browser.
  2. Click Start | Programs | PC Access for Windows | User Auth Manager.
  3. In the User Authorization Manager window, click Info.
  4. Insert your PC Access disk 1 in your diskette drive. Click OK to continue.
  5. In the User Authorization and License Information window, look next to Install Counts Remaining:
    • If the number next to Install Counts Remaining: is greater than zero:
      • Click OK to close the User Authorization and License Information window. Click Install on the User Authorization Manager window. Follow the instructions on your screen to install your User Authorization. This should enable your copy of PC Access to run correctly and you do not need to complete the Problem Report Form.
    • If the the number next to Install Counts Remaining: is zero:
      • Click OK to close the User Authorization and License Information window. Click Reset on the User Authorization Manager window. Click OK to confirm that you want to reset your User Authorization. You will see a Serial number and a Validation code in the Reset User Authorization window.

        Here is a sample Serial number and Validation code:

        Serial Number: 123456789-00-00-00
        Validation Code: 123456-1AB2
          Note: The above Serial number and Validation code are samples only. Please provide MFM with the actual Serial number and Validation code that appear in the Reset User Authorization window.
  6. Close this window and complete the Problem Report Form.

Close this window to return to the Problem Report Form.
