Complete PC Access Version Number
There are two ways you can determine your PC Access version and Build number. If you can see the PC Access Main Menu, use the Main Menu method. If you do not see the PC Access Main Menu, use the Disk 1 method.If your display is too small to let you see this window when you open other programs, please print these instructions by selecting File | Print... in your browser.
Using the PC Access for Windows Main Menu Window
The PC Access Main Menu window may be visible behind the User Authorization Error window. Try to drag the User Authorization Error window to the lower left corner of your screen to see your PC Access Version and Build number. To drag a window:On the PC Access for Windows Main Menu Window, look in the upper right section for text similar to one of these examples:
- Position your mouse pointer over the title bar of the window.
- Press the left mouse button and hold it down.
- Move the mouse while holding down the left mouse button. An outline of the window should move with the mouse.
- Release the left mouse button.
- Broker Version / 4.30.151
- Version / 4.30.151
- In the examples above:
- 4.30 is the Version number
- 151 is the Build number
Using PC Access for Windows Disk 1
- Insert your PC Access disk 1 in the diskette drive.
- Click Start | Programs | MS DOS Prompt.
- In the MS DOS Prompt window type the following command:
TYPE A:\DISK1.IDYou will information similar to the following:PC Access for Windows 4.30.151 Disk 1- In the example above:
- 4.30 is the Version number
- 151 is the Build number
- Type
EXITto close the MS DOS Prompt window and return to Windows.
Close this window to return to the Problem Report Form.
