Edit the sorted result in vi to turn the field delimiter back to a tab with: :%s/:/ /g 5. Increase the tab spacing in vi with: :set tabstop=11 (this spaces the columns legibly). 6. Copy the file contents from telnet to the Windows clipboard (this converts tabs to spaces, insuring that everybody will see a legible column spacing regardless of where they have set tabstops in their e-mail clients). 7. Paste into the e-mail message body.
