WHAT PC ACCESS FOR WINDOWS FILES ARE CHANGED?

The PC Access for Windows 4.30.153 BETA Update will update the following
files in your PC Access executable directory (C:\PCAWIN):

 PCAPLUS.EXE      613,888  11-23-99  2:22p
 PCAW32.DLL       683,520  11-23-99  4:17p
 PCAWIN.EXE     1,390,688  11-10-99  5:15p


BACKING UP PC ACCESS FOR WINDOWS 4.30.151 FILES:

We recommend users backing up the following PC Access for Windows
4.30.151 program files in the PC Access executable directory BEFORE
APPLYING the PC Access for Windows 4.30.153 BETA Update.  This will
allow the user to easily revert to PC Access for Windows 4.30.151,
if needed:

1. In Windows open a MS-DOS Prompt window and enter the following
commands:

CD\PCAWIN
MD BU151
CD BU151
COPY C:\PCAWIN\PCAWIN.EXE C:\PCAWIN\BU151
COPY C:\PCAWIN\PCAPLUS.EXE C:\PCAWIN\BU151
COPY C:\PCAWIN\PCAW32.DLL C:\PCAWIN\BU151
COPY C:\PCAWIN\PCAWIN.PBK C:\PCAWIN\BU151

2. Close the MS-DOS Prompt window.

3. Run the 'Back Up PCAWin Setup' program in the PC Access for Windows
program group.  This will back up the user's current PC Access setup
files to the PC Access for Windows 4.30 Disk 1.


APPLYING THE PC ACCESS FOR WINDOWS 4.30.153 BETA UPDATE:

1. Verify that you are currently running PC Access for Windows 4.30.151.
If you are unsure how to verify your PC Access for Windows version
and build level, visit the following URL on the MFM Web site:

If your PC Access for Windows version and build level is NOT 4.30.151,
the DO NOT APPLY the PC Access for Windows 4.30.153 BETA Update until
you have updated to PC Access for Windows 4.30.151.

2. Download the PC Access for Windows 4.30.153 BETA Update file from
the MFM FTP site:

    ftp://ftp.mfm.com/pcawin/beta153u.exe

3. Save the beta153u.exe file to your PC Access executable directory.

4. Run Windows Explorer and go to the PCAWIN folder, or where you saved
the beta153u.exe file.  Double click on the beta153u.exe file and click
Unzip to apply the PC Access 4.30.153 BETA Update.

5. Close the Winzip self-extracting EXE window.

6. Run PC Access.


WHAT ARE THE CHANGES FROM PC ACCESS FOR WINDOWS 4.30.151 TO 4.30.153:

Build 153:

1. Change telnet connections to use non-reserved port to try to
   avoid "Port in use" errors with some firewalls/routers.

2. Expand telnet port number field in the phone book to allow port
   numbers 0-65535. This fix results in a PCAWIN.PBK file format change.

3. NETRIS mapping/Internet gateway support added to Maestro emulation.

4. Fixed Save Full Listing function on Compass Full Listing speed menu.

5. Fixed problem with deleting the agent's e-mail signature.

6. Added check box on E-mail form to allow the user to not send the 
   listing photo.

7. Fixed the Photo Gallery function in Compass to display more than two
   photos when available.

Build 152

1. Enable dynamic hyperlinking on Compass/Maestro terminal windows for
   test purposes.
