Using the PC Access for Windows Main Menu Window

• From the PC Access for Windows Main Menu Window: [ Version 4.20 and earlier] [ Version 4.30]
• Look in the upper half of the right side of the window for a block of text that includes:
  • PC Access Version X.YZ.BBB
  • See: What the version number means for a description of X.YZ.BBB
• If you do not see the above version string, use the About window method.

• Click on the MFM logo button in the upper right corner of the PC Access for Windows Main Menu Window: [ Version 4.20 and earlier] [ Version 4.30]. This opens the About PC Access for Windows window.
• Look in the upper left side of the window for a block of text that includes:
  • PC Access Version X.YZ.BBB
  • See: What the version number means for a description of X.YZ.BBB

• Insert your PC Access disk 1 in the diskette drive.
• Windows 95,98 and NT users: Click Start | Programs | MS DOS Prompt.
• Windows 3.1x users: Click File | Exit Windows
• In the MS DOS Prompt window type the following command:

  TYPE A:\DISK1.ID
  

  You will information similar to the following:

  PC Access for Windows
  4.30.151
  Disk 1
  

  showing the version and Build numbers of your copy of PC Access.
  

• Type
  

  EXIT

  
  to close the MS DOS Prompt window and return to Windows.

• X is the major version number
• Y is the release number
• Z is the revision number
• BBB is the build number
