What is My Password?Quick ContentsIntroductionPC Access uses several types of passwords.
PC Access PasswordThe PC Access Password prevents unauthorized persons from accessing your Agent Setup information and logging into your MLS account with your MLS Login Name and MLS Password. If you are running an Agent Version of PC Access on a computer that is reasonably physically secure (such as a computer in a home office) there is probably no reason to assign a PC Access Password. You can assign a PC Access Password in the PC Access Password field on the Add/Edit Agent window.
How do you know if you have a PC Access Password?
PC Access does not require you to enter an PC Access Password to access the Setup Menu. This allows the System Administrator to see an agent's PC Access Password should the agent forget it. To prevent agents from seeing each other's PC Access Passwords, the System Administrator should assign an Administrator Password. Administrator PasswordThe Administrator Password prevents unauthorized users from changing the PC Access Setup information and prevents agents from seeing each other's PC Access Passwords. The System Administrator can assign a Administrator Password on the Defaults Setup window.How do you know if you are using an Administrator Password?
