Change Default Access Device

Select DD or 4 from the User Profile Menu to change your default access device. If you have not previously selected a default device, the following screen will display:

You currently have no default access device. 
 
       (1) PHOTOCOM - No Pictures 
       (2) PHOTOCOM - Pictures 
       (3) CRTs or Other PCs 
       (4) Printer Terminals 
       (5) Delete Default Terminal Type 
  
    Press ENTER to keep current default access device.

The top line of the sample screen shows that you have not yet chosen a default access device. Once you choose a default access device, the system will automatically use your stored selection. Enter your access device. You may change your default access device as often as necessary.

Hint: If you do not select a default, you will be asked for your terminal type each time you log into the system. If you regularly use more than one type of equipment, you should not define a default terminal type.
