The Main Menu

(Contents)(Previous)(Next)

Like a menu in a restaurant, the Main Menu is a list of program choices that display on a screen. The menu gives you possible choices which you "order" by entering the program number or name. All major programs within BORIS are displayed on the Main Menu.

Example to select "Recent Listing Updates" from the menu, enter the program name (e.g., UPDATE) or number (1). If you are using PC Access for DOS or PC Access for Windows, you may click your mouse on the program name or number in parentheses. Program numbers can only be used from the Main Menu, while program names can be used at any system prompt. When you select programs, sub-menus may be displayed. Sub-menus are illustrated throughout the manual.
