Addressing Tab: Type

The Type drop-down list appears in the Send Fax To group on the Addressing tab in the Fax Everywhere Fax Client.

You can use the Type drop-down list to tell Fax Everywhere if you would like to send your fax to an e-mail address or a fax number.

From the Type drop-down list you can select:

• to: if you select to, Fax Everywhere will e-mail your fax. Fax Everywhere places the e-mail address you entered in the E-mail Address / Fax Phone # field into the To: field in the e-mail messages it sends.
  
  
• cc: if you select cc, Fax Everywhere will e-mail your fax. Fax Everywhere places the e-mail address you entered in the E-mail Address / Fax Phone # field into the CC: field in the e-mail messages it sends.
  
  
• bcc: if you select bcc, Fax Everywhere will e-mail your fax. Fax Everywhere places the e-mail address you entered in the E-mail Address / Fax Phone # field into the BCC: field in the e-mail messages it sends.
  
  
• fax: if you select fax, Fax Everywhere will send your fax to the fax number you entered in the E-mail Address / Fax Phone # field.

Note: if you do not make a selection from this drop-down list and the E-mail Address / Fax Phone # field contains an @ sign; Fax Everywhere selects To from this drop-down list.

By default, Fax Everywhere selects fax from this drop-down list.
