Fax Everywhere Control Panel: Rate Setup Tab

The Rate Setup tab appears on the Tables Setup tab on the Fax Everywhere Control Panel. This tab contains the Rates table. The Rates table lists one or more rate classes and the fees associated with each class.

If you plan to charge users for the Fax Everywhere service, you can use the fields on the Rates table to set up one or more rate class. Within each rate class, you can specify different charges for each field. For example, you may charge some users a fee to set up each line and then charge them a per minute charge for each incoming call. You may also have an entry for users who you do not charge for the Fax Everywhere service.

Before you can create a group on the Group Setup tab or add users the User Setup tab, you need to set up at least one rate class in the Rates table. If you are not charging for the Fax Everywhere service, you can add a No Revenue entry on the Rates table with no charges in all of the fields.

To add an entry to the Rates table, click the Add button on the toolbar.

To edit an existing entry, click on the field in the row of the entry you want to edit. When you edit an existing entry, the title on the toolbar changes from Browse/Edit to Edit. Any changes you make to an existing entry will not go into effect until you return to Browse/Edit mode. To return to Browse/Edit mode, click the Save button on the toolbar.

Note: as of November 14, 2001, only MFM uses the Rate Setup tab. If MFM sells the Fax Everywhere Service to company who plans to administrator Fax Everywhere on its own, the Rate Setup tab will may be visible.

You can resize the Rate Setup tab.
