Fax History Tab: Description

The Description column appears on the Fax History tab on the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

If you sent a fax via Fax Everywhere, this field contains the text you entered in the Subject line of the e-mail message.

If you received a fax via Fax Everywhere, this field contains the sender's name from their caller ID information. If the sender blocks their caller ID information, the Description field may display Unknown.

You can add or edit a description in one of the following ways:

• click on the Description field.
  
  
• you can use the description reply to e-mail command.
  
  
• you can edit the Description field on the Fax Archive window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface.
