Fax History Tab: Number

The Number column appears on the Fax History tab on the Fax Everywhere Control Panel. You can also view the Number field on the Fax Archive window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface.

This field contains one of the following:

• the caller ID number of a company's or individual's fax machine.
  
  
• the station ID number of a company's or individual's fax machine.

If this field contains a numeric value, for example 5135551212, that is the caller ID number. If this field contains ID followed by numeric value, for example ID5135551212, that is the station ID number.

If the sender blocks their caller ID information, the Number field may be blank.

Note: the sender must manually program their Station ID into their fax machine. Often times the sender does not program their Station ID into their fax machine and/or their Station ID contains erroneous information.
