Fax Everywhere Reference Guide

for Version 1.00

Fax History Tab: Spam

The Spam column appears on the Fax History tab on the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

If you check the Spam check box, Fax Everywhere will register the fax as spam. When Fax Everywhere registers a fax as spam, it will delete any future incoming faxes whose contents match at least 95% with any of the registered spam faxes.

You can also use the spam reply to e-mail command, or click the Mark as Spam button on the View Fax window or the View Thumbnails window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface to register a fax as spam.

After Fax Everywhere registers a fax as spam, the Server Status tab displays this message: XI-4076 - Fax (filename) Logged as Spam.

The Active Spam Profiles field on the Server Status tab lists the number of faxes you or other Fax Everywhere users marked as spam.

If you want to unmark a fax as spam, uncheck the Spam check box. You will need to Stop and Restart Fax Everywhere before the change will take effect.
