Fax Modem Devices Tab: Fax Modem Ext. #

The Fax Modem Ext. # field appears on the Server Setup | Fax Modem Devices tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

You can use the Fax Modem Ext. # field to enter the extension number of the fax modem you selected on the Devices pane. Each fax modem should have unique extension. If you do not enter the correct extension number in this field, Fax Everywhere cannot route your incoming faxes. The person responsible for installing and/or maintaining your phone system should know the extension number for each fax modem on the Devices pane.

Note: it is extremely important that the extension number you enter matches the actual fax modem device. If the extension number does not match the actual fax modem device, Fax Everywhere will incorrectly route faxes.

You need to enter a unique Fax Modem Ext. # for each device you select on the Devices pane.

By default, Fax Everywhere leaves this field blank.
