Setup Tab: Legal Notice

The Legal Notice field appears in the Preferences group on the Setup tab in the Fax Everywhere Fax Client.

If your company requires you to send a legal notice or disclaimer with the faxes you send, you can enter it in the Legal Notice field.

Fax Everywhere will include the text you type in the Legal Notice field on the faxes you send to a fax number. Fax Everywhere includes the text in the Legal Notice field on the cover page it sends with your fax.

Note: if you do not check the Send Cover Page check box on the Addressing tab, Fax Everywhere will not send a cover page with your fax. This means the text you typed in the Legal Notice field will not appear with your fax.

By default, Fax Everywhere includes the text from the Legal Notice field on the User Setup window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface on the fax cover page it sends. If you want to replace the text that appears in the Legal Notice field on the User Setup window, type the replacement text in the Legal Notice field on this window.

Follow the instructions below to enter text into the Legal Notice field.

1. Click the Click to Edit... text in the Legal Notice field.
   
   
2. Type your text in the pop-up window. Click the X button to close the pop-up window.
   
   
3. After you close the pop-up window, Fax Everywhere checks the Legal Notice | Update on Server check box.

After you edit the Legal Notice field, any future faxes you send from the Send Fax window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface, or from Fax Everywhere Fax Client will use the Legal Notice you entered in this field.
