Addressing Tab: Billing Acct. #

The Billing Acct. # drop-down list appears in the Settings for this Fax group on the Addressing tab in the Fax Everywhere Fax Client.

Fax Everywhere can group the faxes you send and receive by an account code. You may want to use an account code if you plan to track charges for your company's internal use or for re-billing your customers. Fax Everywhere will sub-total the fax charges in each account code.

If you enter an account code in the Billing Acct. # drop-down list, Fax Everywhere will assign the account code you enter to the fax you are sending. In addition, Fax Everywhere will add the account code you entered to the list of available account codes. This means the next time you want to assign this account code to a fax, you can select it from the Billing Acct. # drop-down list.

Note: you can view the faxes in each account code by clicking on the account code hyperlink in the Billing Account Code field on the Billing Summary window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface.

Adding or editing an account code in this drop-down list is equivalent to:

• adding or editing the Account Code field on the Fax Archive window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface.
  
  
• adding or editing the Default Account Code field on the User Setup window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface.
  
  
• adding or editing the Acct. Code field on the Fax History tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.
