Addressing Tab: Name

The Name drop-down list appears in the Send Fax To group on the Addressing tab in the Fax Everywhere Fax Client.

If you selected your address book from the Address Book Source drop-down list on the Setup tab, you can click the arrow button in the Name drop-down list to display a pop-up window with the contents of your address book.

If you select an entry from this pop-up window, Fax Everywhere automatically completes the Name and E-mail Address / Fax Phone # fields. Here is how it works:

• Fax Everywhere will insert the number from the Fax # field into the E-mail Address / Fax Phone # field when the following conditions are true:

  ¨ the Type field contains: fax

  ¨ the Fax # field on this pop-up window contains a fax number

• Fax Everywhere will insert the e-mail address from the E-mail Address field into the E-mail Address / Fax Phone # field when the following conditions are true:

  ¨ the Type field contains: to, cc, or bcc

  ¨ the E-mail Address field on this pop-up window contains an e-mail address

Note: if you want to update the entries in this pop-up window, you need to update the address book you selected from the Address Book Source drop-down window. After you update your address book, click the Sync button to update this pop-up window with the changes you made in your address book.

If you did not select your address book from the Address Book Source drop-down list, you can type the name of the person you are sending your fax to in this field.
