Fax Everywhere Control Panel and Service Panel Reference Guidefor Version 1.00Association Setup Tab: .FAX File Name PrefixThe .FAX File Name Prefix column appears on the Fax # Associations table on the Tables Setup | Association Setup tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel. Fax Everywhere automatically generates an entry in the .FAX File Name Prefix when you enter a value in the Name field, or when you use the Fax Everywhere uses the entry in the .FAX File Name Prefix field as the prefix of the file name it includes in the fax(es) it sends you. For example, if the ABC Company has a file name prefix of: ABCCOMPANY, when you receive a fax from them, Fax Everywhere will generate a file name similar to: One benefit of having file name prefix, is the ability to have a unique file naming scheme for each company or individual in the Fax # Associations table. Fax Everywhere maintains the file name prefix when it stores faxes in the ARCHIVE, INBOUND, and DEADFAX directories.
