Fax Everywhere Control Panel and Service Panel Reference Guide

for Version 1.00

Reply to E-mail Commands Overview

The Reply to E-mail Commands allow you to communicate certain things with Fax Everywhere via e-mail.

Here is how it works:

  1. When you receive an e-mail message from Fax Everywhere, you may want to tell Fax Everywhere that the fax in the message is private, or maybe you would like Fax Everywhere to delete the fax.

  2. If you would like to tell Fax Everywhere to delete a fax, click the Reply button in your e-mail program. On the first line of the Message Body, type the command: delete. Click Send to send your e-mail message to Fax Everywhere. You do not need to delete the existing text in the Message Body of your reply message.

  3. Fax Everywhere will delete your fax from the ARCHIVE directory, Fax Archive window, and the Fax History tab.

Note: Fax Everywhere assigns each fax a unique document ID number. This number appears in angle brackets: <...> in the Subject line of the e-mail message. For example, <6CF63DD9>. Fax Everywhere uses the document ID number to associate a fax with a reply to e-mail command. If you alter the document ID number, the Reply to E-mail Commands will not work.
