Fax Everywhere Control Panel and Service Panel Reference Guidefor Version 1.00Server Settings Tab: Master KeyThe Master Key field appears on the Server Setup | Server Settings tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel. The code in the Master Key field is a random eight character hexidecimal code that Fax Everywhere generates when you first set up the Fax Everywhere Control Panel. Fax Everywhere uses the code in the Master Key field for send fax authorization and encryption. If you plan to use the Fax Everywhere Fax Client program to send faxes, you need to enter the master key in the Fax Everywhere Server Master Key field. You cannot use the Fax Everywhere Control Panel to edit the code in the Master Key field. However, you can manually edit the code in the FAXESVC.INI file. If you change the code in the Master Key field, each Fax Everywhere user will need to update the Master Key code in the Fax Everywhere Server Master Key field in Fax Everywhere Fax Client. Note: the value in the Master Key field only effects faxes you send.
