Server Settings Tab: SMDR Port Settings

The SMDR Port Settings field appears on the Server Setup | Server Settings tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

The groups in this field relate to the COM port you selected in the SMDR from Com Port drop-down list. You need to configure the following radio buttons to match the transmission specifications of the SMDR Com port on your PBX system.

The SMDR Port Settings field contains the following groups:

• Baud Rate: you can use the radio buttons in this group to select the baud rate for the COM port you selected in the SMDR Port Settings drop-down list. By default, Fax Everywhere selects the 57600 radio button.
  
  
• Parity: you can use the radio buttons in this group to select the parity for the COM port you selected in the SMDR Port Settings drop-down list. By default, Fax Everywhere selects the None radio button.
  
  
• Data Bits: you can use the radio buttons in this group to select the data bits for the COM port you selected in the SMDR Port Settings drop-down list. By default, Fax Everywhere selects the 7 radio button.
  
  
• Stop Bits: you can use the radio buttons in this group to select the stop bits for the COM port you selected in the SMDR Port Settings drop-down list. By default, Fax Everywhere selects the 1 radio button.

The above groups are grey (unselectable) until you select the SMDR from Com Port radio button.
