Fax Everywhere Control Panel and Service Panel Reference Guide

for Version 1.00

Server Status Tab: Stop

The Stop button appears on the Server Status tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

If Fax Everywhere is not running, the Stop button is gray (unselectable). You can click the Start button to restart Fax Everywhere.

If Fax Everywhere is not responding to incoming calls or if it has crashed, you can click the Stop button to stop Fax Everywhere. After you click the Stop button, click the Start button to restart Fax Everywhere. You can view the Message pane, or check the FAXELOG.TXT file to view any error messages that Fax Everywhere encountered.

If you make any changes on the Server Settings tab, you need to restart Fax Everywhere before your changes take effect. You can restart Fax Everywhere by clicking the Stop button, then click the Start button.

MFM recommends that you stop Fax Everywhere by using the Stop button rather than using the generic Windows Service Administration Control Panel.

If you Stop and Start Fax Everywhere, it resets the most of the fields on the Server Status tab, including the values in the Status, Today, and Total columns.
