Fax Everywhere Control Panel and Service Panel Reference Guide

for Version 1.00

Toll Control Tab: # Digits to Delete

The # Digits to Delete column appears on the Toll Control table on the Tables Setup | Toll Control tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

The number you enter in this field tells Fax Everywhere how many digits to delete from the beginning of the fax number you are sending a fax to. For example, if you enter 4 in this field and you are faxing to 15135551212, Fax Everywhere will delete the first four digits of the fax number, in this example: 1513, before it sends the fax to your fax modem.

The need to delete digits usually revolves around the need to properly account for 7 digit local phone numbers.

Fax Everywhere determines the need to delete digits after it matches the fax number with an entry in the Digits field.

By default, Fax Everywhere leaves this field blank.

You can click the column heading to toggle the sort order between ascending or descending.
