Fax Everywhere Control Panel and Service Panel Reference Guide

for Version 1.00

Toll Control Tab: Allow / Deny

The Allow / Deny column appears on the Toll Control table on the Tables Setup | Toll Control tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

You can use the Allow / Deny drop-down list to determine what fax numbers you want Fax Everywhere uses to send faxes to. For example, if the Digits field contains an entry for local calls, you can select Allow. This means Fax Everywhere users can send faxes to numbers that match your local call entry in the Digits field.

You may also want to deny Fax Everywhere users access to certain numbers. For example, you may want to deny access to numbers that begin with 900. To deny access to 900 numbers, you can add an entry with 900 in the Digits field, then select Deny from the Allow / Deny drop-down list. When a user sends a fax to any number that begins with 900, Fax Everywhere will display this message in the Message pane on the Server Status tab: XE-4388 Fax (filename) to (phonenumber) (name) Denied Due to Toll Restriction. In addition to displaying this message in the Message pane, Fax Everywhere sends an e-mail to the user and includes the fax number followed by: Toll Restriction. This will let the user know that they cannot send faxes to the number they entered.

You can click the column heading to toggle the sort order between ascending or descending.

When you add an entry to the Toll Control table, Fax Everywhere automatically selects Deny in this field.
