Fax Archive Window: Description

The Description column appears on the Fax Archive window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface.

If you sent a fax via Fax Everywhere, this field contains the text you typed in the Subject line of the e-mail message.

If you received a fax, this field may display one of the following:

• if the sender has an entry on the Association Setup tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel, the value from the Name field appears in the Description field.
  
  
• if the sender does not have an entry on the Association Setup tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel, the Description field may contain the sender's name from their caller ID information.
  
  
• if the sender does not have an entry on the Association Setup tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel, and their caller ID information is not available, this field will display None.

You can add or edit a description in one of the following ways:

• edit the Description field on this window.
  
  
• you can use the description Reply to E-mail Command.
  
  
• edit the Description field on the Fax History tab in the Fax Everywhere Control Panel.

If you make any changes to the text in the Description field, you need to click the Save Changes button before your changes take effect.

You can click the column heading to toggle the sort order between ascending or descending.
