Fax Archive Window: Search Fax Properties

The Search Fax Properties window appears when you click the Search button on the Fax Archive window in the Fax Everywhere Web Interface.

You can use the fields on this window to search for information in the faxes on the Fax Archive window.

Note: the Search Fax Properties window searches the criteria you entered on the Fax Document Properties window. You can use the Fax Document Properties window to store additional information about a fax.

The Search Fax Properties window displays the following fields, and check box:

• Transmitting Number: you can use this field to search for the transmitting fax number. Fax Everywhere will search the Number field for values that match the search criteria you entered in this field.
  
  
• Sender's Company: you can use this field to search for faxes that match the value you entered in the Sender's Company field on the Fax Document Properties window.
  
  
• Sender's Name: you can use this field to search for faxes that match the value you entered in the Sender's Name field on the Fax Document Properties window.
  
  
• Subject: you can use the field to search for a word or phase that matches a word or phrase you entered in the Subject field on the Fax Document Properties window.
  
  
• Description: you can use this field to search by the description of a fax. Fax Everywhere will search the Description field for values that match the search criteria you entered in this field.
  
  
• Notes: you can use the field to search for a word or phase that matches a word or phrase you entered in the Notes field on the Fax Document Properties window.
  
  
• Case Sensitive: if you check the Case Sensitive check box, Fax Everywhere will search for values that match exactly with the case of the word or phrase you typed.

You can also use the radio buttons on this window to customize your search. For example, if you entered text in more than one field on this window, you can click the All Fields radio button. If you select this radio button, Fax Everywhere will search for faxes that match all of the criteria you entered on this window. If you check the Any Fields radio button, Fax Everywhere will search for faxes that match the criteria in at least one of the fields on this window.

Fax Everywhere displays the faxes that match your search criteria on the Fax Archive window. You can click the Show All Faxes button to display all of your faxes in the Fax Archive window.
