Feature Items Macro

The Feature Items macro (expressed as @FEATITEMS) allows you to limit the number of items in a list.

This macro is especially helpful when formatting a field with a very long list of features. Your template design may only have room for 3 or 4 features; yet some of your listings could have as many as 20 features in one field.

The syntax for the Feature Items macro is as follows:

@FEATITEMS("field name","number of feature to start listing","total number of features to list","delimiter")

The operators within the macro are enclosed in quotes and are separated by commas. The entire macro (after the macro name) is enclosed in parentheses. Remember: the pipe symbols ( | ) are part of the field names and must be enclosed in quotes.

Open the Just Listed template in the Template Gallery window | Gallery tab to see an example of this macro.

Double-click the text box farthest to the right under Amenities on the Just Listed template, and the Flyer program displays the Edit/Enter Text window.

The fifth, sixth, and seventh lines of this window contain Feature Item macros. In the seventh line, the macro is saying, "From the PROP_KITCHEN_FEAT field, begin listing with the first feature, list a total of two features, and use a comma as the field delimiter."
