Properties of Image Window

When you drag an image field from the Drag & Drop Data Items window to the Template Designer window, the Flyer program displays the Properties of Image window. The Template Designer also displays this window when you right-click an image object in the Template Designer window.

You may set the following options in the Properties of Image window:

· Left: This box displays the value in inches for the placement of the left border of the image from the left border of the template. For example, in the above graphic the image begins 0.429 inches from the left border of the template. You may change the placement of the image by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the image border to the desired location.

· Width: This box displays the value in inches for overall width of the image. For example, in the above graphic the image is 3.498 inches wide. You may change the width of the image by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the image border to the desired size.

· Top: This box displays the value in inches for the placement of the top border of the image from the top border of the template. For example, in the above graphic the image begins 1.024 inches from the top border of the template. You may change the placement of the image by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the image border to the desired location.

· Height: This box displays the value in inches for overall height of the image. For example, in the above graphic the image is 2.688 inches high. You may change the height of the image by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the image border to the desired size.

· Image File: Click the ellipsis button (…) to display the Select an Image Window, where you may specify the path and filename of the image you would like to place in the template. Click the OK button after highlighting the appropriate filename or click the Cancel button to discard changes and return to the Template Designer window.

· Select Image from Clipart: Select this check box before clicking the Image File ellipsis button to display available clipart in the Select an Image Window. Click the OK button after highlighting the appropriate filename or click the Cancel button to discard changes and return to the Template Designer window.

· Framed?: Click the Setup Frame Style button to display the Border Properties window, where you may choose from the following border properties:

¨ Border Style: Use the scroll bar to view the available border styles. Highlight the desired border style by clicking it. The Sample View area displays the selected border style.

¨ Corner Style: Click either the Rounded or Square radio button to choose a corner style. Choose a radius (in inches) from the Corner Radius drop-down list. Use the check boxes to add a 3-D shadow and to automatically size the frame to accommodate text. The Sample View area displays the selected corner style.

Click the OK button after making changes or the Cancel button to discard changes and return to the Template Designer window.
