Properties of Object Window

When you use the Line/Rectangle tool to create an object in the Template Designer window, the Flyer program displays the Properties of Object window. The Template Designer also displays this window when you right-click a line or rectangle in the Template Designer window.

You may set the following options in the Properties of Image window:

· Left: This box displays the value in inches for the placement of the left border of the object from the left border of the template. For example, in the above graphic the object begins 1.260 inches from the left border of the template. You may change the placement of the object by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the object border to the desired location.

· Width: This box displays the value in inches for overall width of the object. For example, in the above graphic the object is 4.635 inches wide. You may change the width of the object by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the object border to the desired size.

· Top: This box displays the value in inches for the placement of the top border of the object from the top border of the template. For example, in the above graphic the object begins 1.521 inches from the top border of the template. You may change the placement of the object by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the object border to the desired location.

· Height: This box displays the value in inches for overall height of the object. For example, in the above graphic the object is 0.729 inches high. You may change the height of the object by manually entering a new value in this box. You may find it is easier to return to the Template Designer window and click and drag the object border to the desired size.

· Color: This box displays the line or rectangle color. The default value is black. Click the down-arrow and scroll through the selections to choose a new color.

· Shape Style: Choose the Horizontal Line, Vertical Line, or Rectangular Block radio button to select the object's shape.

· Line Width: Enter a value to adjust the object's line width. The default value is 2.
