Address Book Window: Send Flyers

The Send Flyers window is one of five similar windows that can appear as your last step in e-mailing one or more flyers.

·  You began e-mailing one or more flyers by clicking the E-mail the Flyer Shown button or the E-mail All Flyers button on the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window or the History List | Step 2 window.

You can use the Send Flyers window to personalize the e-mail message you will send with your flyer or flyers, by typing whatever text you like into the Message Body field.

The Send Flyers window lets you type just one message into the Message Body field for all the flyers you are sending at this time. PC Access Flyer will then send that same message with your flyer or flyers, no matter how many flyers you happen to be e-mailing at this time, and no matter how many recipients you specified on the Address Book window earlier.

Here are the ways you can end up with this one-message-for-all-flyers restriction:

·  You are e-mailing only one flyer to only one recipient; or:

·  You are e-mailing only one flyer to more than one recipient, but on the Send Flyers Options window you did not check either check box in the Customize Messages group; or:

·  You are e-mailing more than one flyer to one or more recipients, but on the Send Flyers Options window you did not check either check box in the Customize Messages group.

The following items appear on the Send Flyers window:

· Listing:

¨ If you are e-mailing only one flyer, the Listing label displays the address of the listing from which you created the flyer. The address will appear in the subject line of the message when you e-mail the flyer.

¨ If you are e-mailing more than one flyer, the Listing label displays "All N Listings" where N is the number of flyers you are e-mailing. PC Access Flyer will create a separate e-mail message for each flyer. The address of each flyer will appear in the subject line of the corresponding e-mail message.

· Message Body: use this field to type a message to the name(s) that appear in the Recipient pane. When you finish, click the OK button to send your flyer(s).

¨ Any line breaks or spacing you type in the Message Body field will go directly into your e-mail message(s).

¨ PC Access Flyer will insert the greeting from the Greeting column on the Available Names pane in the Address Book window into the Message Body field.

¨ The Send Flyers window provides no direct way to save the Message Body text. However, the Message Body field works like a Windows editor: you can right-click in the Message Body field to display a popup menu with the usual editing commands (Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, and Select All). If you need to save something you typed in the Message Body field, you can select it and copy it to the clipboard with this popup menu.

· CC this message to me: check this box if you would like PC Access Flyer to e-mail a copy of your flyer to you. PC Access Flyer will e-mail a copy of your flyer to the e-mail address you entered in the My E-mail Address field on the E-mail Setup window.

Checking the CC this message to me check box, overrides the affects of a check mark in the Use sender's address in To: field when blind copying (BCC) flyers field in the BCC Flyers group on the E-mail Setup window.

¨ The CC this message to me check box setting is persistent. That is, PC Access Flyer will retain your setting for this check box the next time this window opens, until you change it.

· Delete Message Body: you may click this button if you want to delete any text you have typed in the Message Body field and start over. This button is not very useful on the Send Flyers window because you are only typing one message body for all the flyers you are e-mailing at this time.

¨ However, on other versions of the Send Flyers window (see: Send Flyers Windows) you can type separate message bodies for some or all of the flyers you are e-mailing, and then you may find it easier to delete the Message Body field than to edit each message into the next message you want to send.

· Recipients: the Recipients pane shows the recipients you selected on the Address Book window. On the Send Flyers window the Name list in the Recipients pane is display-only: you cannot add or remove recipients on this window. If you need to change your Recipients list, you will have to click the Cancel button to navigate back to the Address Book window. (Depending on how many listings and recipients you selected earlier, you may also need to click the Cancel button on the Send Flyers Options window.)
