FLY

.FLY is the extension of the file name that contains the listings you downloaded from your MLS. The name of the .FLY file will vary depending upon the type of MLS system you use; i.e. Maestro, Compass, or RE/Xplorer.

When you download listings, PC Access Flyer places the .FLY file in your agent subdirectory. When you run PC Access Flyer it looks for any files in your agent subdirectory that contain a .FLY extension. If PC Access Flyer finds a file with a .FLY extension, it displays the Importing MLS Data... window.

After PC Access Flyer imports the listings, you can access the listings in the Flyer Wizard, Listings Editor, Template Designer, and the Delete Listings windows.

Each time you download listings, PC Access Flyer will display the Importing MLS Data... window. After PC Access Flyer imports the listings, it adds the listings to any listings you may have previously download.

By default, PC Access Flyer deletes the .FLY file after it imports the listings using the Importing MLS Data... window. If you would like to save a backup copy of your .FLY file check the Backup to *.FL~ radio button in the Download File Disposal group on the Setup | File tab.
