History List | Step 2 Window: Left

The Left field appears on the History List | Step 2 window.

When you click on a plain text box, rich text box, or image box in the Flyer Preview pane you select it. The Left field displays the horizontal distance in inches from the left border of your flyer to the left edge of the text or image box you selected.

For example, suppose you click on a plain text box and the value in the Left field shows: 4.281. This means the plain text box is 4.281 inches from the left border of your flyer. You may move the plain text box horizontally by typing a new value in the Left field and pressing the Enter key.

Note: use caution when you change the value in the Left, Top, Width, and Height fields. Avoid entering a value that causes the current plain text box, rich text box, or image box to overlap another text or image box. Also avoid entering a value that extends the current text or image box beyond the borders of your flyer. Inspect your flyer in the Flyer Preview pane after you edit these fields.
