Listings Editor Window: Main Info Tab

The Main Info tab may appear on the Listings Editor window.

Note: VISTAinfo and your local MLS worked together to customize the tabs and fields in the Listings Editor to better suit the needs of your geographic area. If VISTAinfo and your MLS customized the tabs, the fields on the Main Info tab above may not match the fields on your Main Info tab.

The Main Info tab, if it exists, contains the fields you are most likely to use. The Main Info tab may include: MLS #, Tax ID #, Street Address, Current Price, Original Price, Spec Finan?, Annual Taxes, and features such as Central Air?, Garage, Bedrooms, Total Baths, Full Baths and Partial Baths. PC Access Flyer requires you to fill out the MLS# field.

To add or edit listing information, click the box next to the field you want to add or edit. Begin typing in the field. You can also right-click in the fields on the Main Info tab to display a popup menu with the usual Windows editing commands (Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, and Select All).

If any of the field labels on the tabbed windows in the Listings Editor window appear in green, this means:

· the database description files you downloaded from your MLS contain this field.

· one or more of the listings you downloaded from your MLS does not contain any information in this field.

For example, if the field label Area Description appears in green, your MLS uses this field in its listings. However, the listings you downloaded did not include any data in the Area Description field.

Any changes you make to the listing information on the tabs in the Listings Editor window are persistent. This means your changes to a listing will appear in any flyers you create from that listing in future Flyer Wizard sessions.
