PC Access Flyer Reference Guide

for PC Access Flyer 2.00.025

Listings Editor Window Toolbar

The items on the Listings Editor window toolbar let you:

·  manually add a new listing

·  save any changes you made to a listing

·  delete a listing

·  navigate through the listings

The Listings Editor window toolbar contains the following buttons:

· New: you can click the New button to manually add a listing. When you add a listing, PC Access Flyer will include the listing in your downloaded listings. This means the listing(s) you add in the Listings Editor are available in the Flyer Wizard, Template Designer, and the Delete Listings window.

When you click the New button, the Listings Editor will display a new listing. All fields for the new listing will initially be empty. Enter your listing information into the fields of each tab. For example, on the Main Info tab, you would enter the listing's MLS #, Street Address, etc. in the corresponding fields. PC Access Flyer requires you to fill out the MLS # field.

You can also click Listing | New on the Listings Editor menu bar or use the Ctrl + N keys on your keyboard to add a listing.

· Delete: you can click the Delete button to permanently remove a listing from PC Access Flyer. When you delete a listing from the Listings Editor window, the listing is no longer available in the Flyer Wizard, Template Designer, and the Delete Listings window. When you click the Delete button, PC Access Flyer displays the Delete Listing Information? confirmation message.

You can also click Listing | Delete on the Listings Editor menu bar or use the Ctrl + D keys on your keyboard to delete a listing.

· Save: you can click the Save button to save any changes you made to an existing listing or to save a listing you manually added using the New button or Listings | New.

If you click the Main Menu button or Listing | Exit, before you save your changes, PC Access Flyer will display the Save Listing Changes? confirmation message.

You can also click Listing | Save on the Listings Editor menu bar or use the Ctrl + S keys on your keyboard to save your changes.

· Cancel: you can click the Cancel button to remove any changes or additions you made to an existing or new listing. When you click the Cancel button, PC Access Flyer displays the Discard Listing Changes? confirmation message.

If you clicked the Save button, Ctrl + S, or Listing | Save, clicking Cancel will not discard the changes PC Access Flyer previously saved.

You can also click Listing | Cancel on the Listings Editor menu bar or use the Ctrl + C keys on your keyboard to discard your changes.

· Find: you can click the Find button to open the Find window. In the Find what: field type the word or phrase you are looking for and click Find Next. PC Access Flyer will open the Property Browser tab and search for the word or phrase you typed.

You can also click Edit | Find on the Listings Editor menu bar or use the Ctrl + F keys on your keyboard to open the Find window.

· Replace: you can click the Replace button to open the Replace window. Type the word or phrase you would like to find in the Find what: box. Type your replacement word or phase in the Replace with: box and click Find Next. PC Access Flyer will open the Property Browser tab and search for the word or phrase you typed. When PC Access Flyer locates the text you typed in the Find what: box, click Replace to replace the existing text with the text you typed in the Replace with: box.

When you click Replace, PC Access Flyer will display the Confirm Replacement... window. On the Confirm Replacement...window, click Yes to replace the text. Click No and PC Access Flyer will not replace the text and it will close the Confirm Replacement... window and the Replace window.

You can also click Edit | Replace on the Listings Editor menu bar or use the Ctrl + R keys on your keyboard to open the Replace window.

· Address: the Address label displays the current listing's address. The information on the tabs on the Listings Editor window correspond to the address in the Address label. You can use the VCR-style buttons to the right of the Address label or the First, Previous, Next, and Last menu items from the Listing menu to navigate through your listings.

· VCR-Style Buttons: use the VCR-style buttons, to the right of the Address label, to navigate through your listings. You can move to the first, previous, next or last listing. PC Access Flyer stores the listings in the Listings Editor window in alphabetical order by Street Address, sorting first on street name and then number. You can also use the First, Previous, Next and Last menu items from the Listing menu to navigate through your listings.
