Open Image File Window

The Open Image File window appears when you:

· right-click on an image box in the Flyer Preview pane on the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window.

· right-click on an image box in the Flyer Preview pane on the History List | Step 2 window.

· click the C (Change this picture…) button on the Listings Editor | Photo/Remarks tab or on the Addtl Photos tab.

· click the File button on the Properties of Image window from the Template Designer window.

· click the C (Change this picture…) button on the Setup | Agent Setup | Images tab.

You can use the Open Image File window to insert an image into the image box you created or change an existing image in your flyer.

The information below will help you navigate through the fields, buttons, and drop-down lists on the Open Image File window:

· Look in: when PC Access Flyer first displays the Open Image File window, the Look in field will default to your agent subdirectory. PC Access Flyer stores the image files associated with the listings you downloaded from your MLS in your agent subdirectory. If you would like to use an image file in another directory, select the directory from the Look in: drop-down list. You can also select one of PC Access Flyer's other directories from the Flyer Location: drop-down list.

· File name: the name of the image file PC Access Flyer uses in the image box you selected. To preview an image file, single click on the file name in the window above the File name: field. PC Access Flyer will display a preview of the image you selected. To use the image you selected, click Open. To select an image without previewing first, double-click on the file name in the window above the File name: field.

· Files of type: lists the type of files PC Access Flyer displays from the directory in the Look in: drop-down list. PC Access Flyer displays the files in the Open Image File window. When PC Access Flyer first displays the Open Image File window, the Files of type drop-down list displays All Image Formats. If you do not want PC Access Flyer to display all types of files, you can select one of the following menu items from the Files of type drop-down list:

¨ All Image Formats: select All Image Formats to display the following types of image files in the Open Image File window: .cmp, .bmp, .jpg, .tif, and .pcx.

¨ Compressed Images: select Compressed Images to display the following types of image files in the Open Image File window: .jpg, and .cmp.

¨ Bitmap Images: select Bitmap Images to display the following types of image files in the Open Image File window: .tif, .bmp, and .pcx.

¨ All Files: select All Files to display all of the various types of files in the Open Image File window.

· Flyer Location: the Flyer Location drop-down list displays the following selections:

¨ Flyer Agent Files: when PC Access Flyer displays the Open Image File window, the Flyer Location field will default to Flyer Agent Files and the Look in field will display your agent subdirectory. PC Access Flyer stores the image files associated with the listings you downloaded from your MLS in your agent subdirectory. If you would like to use image files in another directory, you can change the directory in the Look in: field or choose one of the locations from the Flyer Location drop-down list. If you choose one of the locations from the Flyer Location drop-down list, PC Access Flyer will automatically change the directory in the Look in: field to correspond with your selection from the Flyer Location drop-down list.

¨ Flyer System Folder: if you stored any image files in the PC Access Flyer executable directory, select Flyer System Folder from the Flyer Location drop-down list. PC Access Flyer will display any image files in the executable directory. In addition, PC Access Flyer will automatically change the directory in the Look in: field to correspond with your selection from the Flyer Location drop-down list.

¨ Flyer Clip Art Folder: select Flyer Clip Art Folder from the Flyer Location drop-down list and PC Access Flyer will change the directory in the Look in field to PCAFLYER\CLIPART. The CLIPART directory stores the clipart that PC Access Flyer uses in its flyer templates.

¨ Other Path: if you would like to use a directory other than directories described above, you can select Other Path from the Flyer Location drop-down list and select a directory from the Look in drop-down list. You can also select another directory from the Look in: drop-down list without selecting Other Path.

· Clear Picture: if you would like to remove an image, you can click this button. After you click this button, PC Access Flyer will remove the image.
