PC Access Flyer Reference Guidefor PC Access Flyer 2.00.025Printing Tab: Don't Show Fields When The Only Data IsThe Don't show fields when the only data is field appears in the Printing Options group on the Setup | Printing tab. The text in this field acts as a filter and works together with the Show only when data is available check box on the following windows: · Properties of Rich Text List Some of the fields in the listings you downloaded from your MLS may not apply to a particular listing. For example, your MLS may have a field called Basement and the listing you are creating a flyer for may not have a basement. If the listing you are creating a flyer for does not have a basement, the person who entered the listing into your MLS system may have entered N/A next to the Basement field. If the flyer template you selected contains the Basement field, your flyer could contain this line: Basement: N/A If you want to prevent PC Access Flyer from displaying fields that do not contain relevant listing information, for example: Basement: N/A, you can use the Don't show fields when the only data is field and the Show only when data is available check box. Here is how they work: · If the text you enter in the Don't show fields when the only data is field: ¨ matches the text in a field in the listing you selected (in this example the field is Basement); and ¨ the template you selected contains the Basement field; and ¨ you have a check mark next to the Show only when data is available check box, PC Access Flyer will not display the field and the text in the flyers you print or e-mail. In this example, if N/A appears in the Don't show fields when the only data is field and you checked Show only when data is available check box, PC Access Flyer will not display: Basement: N/A in your flyer in the Flyer Preview pane in the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window. · PC Access Flyer does give you the opportunity to change any text that appears next to a field that contains the same text in the Don't show fields when the only data is field. Here is how it works: ¨ The Listing Info tab on the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window displays the fields that appear in your flyer template. Keeping with our Basement field example, the Field Name column on the Listing Info tab will display: Basement and the Field Value column on the Listing Info tab will display: N/A If you change the text in the Field Value from N/A to None, PC Access Flyer will display the Basement field in the Flyer Preview pane in the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window and this line will appear in the flyers you print or e-mail: Basement: None Setup item classification: · Parent window: Setup | Printing tab · Who specifies: You · Importance: Optional
