Printing Tab: Photo Brightness

The Photo brightness spin control appears in the Printing Options group on the Setup | Printing tab.

You can use the Photo brightness spin control to adjust the lightness and darkness of your photos. You can enter a positive or negative value to adjust photo brightness ( –1000 is black and 1000 is white). The default value is 0.

You can adjust the photo brightness if your photos consistently print too light or too dark. You will see the effects of the changes you make in the Photo brightness spin control in:

· photos in the Flyer Preview pane on the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window.

· photos in the Flyer Preview pane on the History List | Step 2 window.

· photos in the Template Designer window.

· photos in the flyers you print or e-mail.

When you change the value in the Photo brightness spin control, you adjust the photo brightness of all of your photos. If you are adjusting the Photo brightness spin control to correct the appearance of one particular photo, you may consider replacing the photo rather than compromise the quality of all other photos.
