Template Designer Window: File Menu

The File menu on the Template Designer window contains the following menu items:

· Open...: opens the Open window. From the Open window you can select an existing flyer template.

· New: opens a blank flyer template.

· Save: saves the flyer template.

· Edit Template Description...: opens the Change Template Description... window. Enter the new description and click OK to complete the change or click Cancel to discard any changes and return to the Template Designer window. PC Access Flyer displays the description under the snapshot of the flyer on the Gallery tab and in the Description column on the Browse tab.

· Save Formatted As: you can save your flyer format as Binary or Text.

¨ When you select the Binary radio button, PC Access Flyer will save the flyer template as a binary file. This means that only PC Access Flyer will recognize the template you modify or create.

¨ When you select the Text radio button, PC Access Flyer will save the flyer template you modify or create as a text file. This means you can use any text editor to modify your flyer template. However, since your template is a text file any photos, graphics, or formatting styles you may have applied to the text will appear in code form.

MFM recommends that most users save their templates as binary files.

· Close: closes the current flyer template.

· Change File Name...: opens the Enter A New Filename window. No help is available for this topic yet. A newer version of the PC Access Flyer Reference Guide may have the information you need.

· Print...: opens the Print window. From the Print window you can print a copy of your flyer.

· Printer Setup...: opens the Printer Setup window. PC Access Flyer displays your Windows default printer in the Printer Setup window. If you have multiple printers, you can select a different printer by clicking the arrow next to the Name field. The options on the Printer Setup window will vary depending on your printer.

· Exit: closes the Template Designer window and returns to the Gallery tab.
