PC Access Flyer Reference Guidefor PC Access Flyer 2.00.025Template Designer Window: Tools MenuThe Tools menu on the Template Designer window contains the following items: · Selector: use the Select tool to select objects in your template. You can also click the Select button on the vertical toolbar. Before you can move a text box, image box, use the cut button, etc. you must use the Select tool to select the object. When the Select tool is active, you can do several different things: ¨ Select a Single Object: click an object once to select it. ¨ Resize an Object: selected objects display a special border with small handles that look like squares. Click a handle and hold the mouse button until the cursor turns into a two-headed arrow, which you may drag to resize the object. ¨ Move an Object: click the special border and hold the mouse button until the pointer turns into a hand and you may now drag the object to another location. ¨ Select Multiple Objects: hold down the · Rich Text Box: you can use the Rich Text Box menu item to add a Rich Text Box to your flyer template. You can also click the Rich Text Box button on the vertical toolbar. With the Rich Text Box tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a rich text box. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Rich Text window. See Properties of Rich Text window for more information. · Plain Text Box: you can use the Plain Text Box menu item to add a Plain Text Box to your flyer template. You can also click the Plain Text Box button on the vertical toolbar. With the Plain Text Box tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a plain text box. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Text window. See Properties of Text window for more information. · Rich Text List Box: you can use the Rich Text List Box menu item to add a Rich Text List Box to your flyer template. You can also click the Rich Text List Box button on the vertical toolbar. You can also click the Line or Rectangle button on the vertical toolbar. With the Shape tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a line or rectangle. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Object window. A newer version of the PC Access Flyer Reference Guide may have the information you need. · Link to Data: when you are designing flyer templates, you may dynamically link to data by selecting the Link to Data menu item. Before you can use the Link to Data menu item, you need to select a text box in your flyer template. When you click on the Link to Data menu item, PC Access Flyer displays the Drag & Drop Data Items window. From the Drag & Drop Data Items window, you may choose fields from the Properties tab, the Agent Setup tab, or the Script tab to place on your flyer template.
