Template Designer Window: View Menu

The View menu on the Template Designer window contains the following items:

· Repaint: when making extensive edits in the Template Designer window, you may notice remnants of previous borders. You may refresh the screen by clicking Repaint. You may also use the Ctrl + R keys on your keyboard to repaint the screen.

· Hide Photos: each time you edit a flyer template, your computer refreshes the screen. Because screen refreshing can be time consuming on a computer with limited memory and graphic display capabilities, you may want to hide the photo(s) and clip art image(s) in your flyer while you are editing it. If you check Hide Photos, PC Access Flyer will temporarily replace the photo(s) and clip art image(s) with a border around the image box. You can click Hide Photos to toggle it on or off. When you turn on Hide Photos, PC Access Flyer places a checkmark next to Hide Photos.

· Paint Photos Now: to force the Template Designer to repaint photos in your template, click Paint Photos Now. You may also use the Ctrl + I keys on your keyboard to repaint photos.

· Alignment Palette: when working in the Template Designer window, you may wish to precisely align the edges of two or more text or image boxes or space the boxes equally on the page. To align two or more text or image boxes, click on one box. Next, hold down the Shift key and click on another box. After you select at least two boxes, click Alignment Palette to display the Alignment window. On the Alignment window, you can align objects by their left, top, right, or bottom edges, or space boxes equally on the page either horizontally or vertically. You may also use Edit | Align to align objects in the Template Designer window.
