Template Designer Window Vertical Toolbar

The vertical tool bar on the Template Designer window lets you change the appearance of your flyer template, add a rich text box, add a plain text box, add an image, and add fancy text your flyer template. The vertical toolbar on the Template Designer window has the following buttons: Select, Rich Text Box, Plain Text Box, Rich Text List Box, Plain Text List Box, Photo/Graphic, Line/Rectangle, Scripted Graphic, and Fancy Text.

· Select: before you can select objects in your template, you must first click the Select tool in the Template Designer window. You may also click Tools | Select. With the Select tool active you can:

¨ Select a Single Object: click an object once to select it.

¨ Resize an Object: selected objects display a special border with small handles that look like squares. Click a handle and hold the mouse button until the cursor turns into a two-headed arrow, which you may drag to resize the object.

¨ Move an Object: click the special border and hold the mouse button until the pointer turns into a hand and you may now drag the object to another location.

¨ Select Multiple Objects: hold down the SHIFT key while clicking objects to select multiple objects.

· Rich Text Box: you can use the Rich Text Box button to add a Rich Text Box to your flyer template. You can also click Tools | Rich Text Box. With the Rich Text Box tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a rich text box. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Rich Text window. See Properties of Rich Text window for more information.

· Plain Text Box: you can use the Plain Text Box button to add a Plain Text Box to your flyer template. You can also click Tools | Plain Text Box button. With the Plain Text Box tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a plain text box. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Text window. See Properties of Text window for more information.

· Rich Text List Box: you can use the Rich Text List Box button to add a Rich Text List Box to your flyer template. You can also click Tools | Rich Text List Box. With the Rich Text List Box tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a rich text list box. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Rich Text List window. See Properties of Rich Text List window for more information.

· Plain Text List Box: you can use the Plain Text List Box button to add a Plain Text List Box to your flyer template. You can also click Tools | Plain Text List Box button on the vertical toolbar. With the Plain Text List Box tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a plain text list box. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Text List window. See Properties of Text List window for more information.

· Photo/Graphic: you can use the Photo/Graphic button to add an Image box to your flyer template. You can also click Tools | Image. With the Photo/Graphic tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create an image box. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Image window. For more information, see: Properties of Image window.

· Line/Rectangle: you can use the Line/Rectangle button to add a line or rectangle to your flyer template. You can also click Tools | Shape. With the Line/Rectangle tool active, you may click on an area in your template and drag your mouse to create a line or rectangle. When you release the mouse button, PC Access Flyer displays the Properties of Object window. For more information, see Properties of Object window.
