Installing Files
Before you install PC Access, make sure you are running one of the following versions of Windows®: 95, 98, 98SE, NT 4.0, 2000, ME or XP. In addition, you need at least 15 MB of hard disk space available on the drive where you plan to install PC Access.
Follow the instructions below to install PC Access for Windows.
- Exit any applications that you are running. Insert the PC Access CD-ROM into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
- At the PC Access for Windows Installation Menu window, click Install PC Access for Windows 4.30. If you do not see this window after you insert the CD-ROM, follow the instructions below:
Click Start | Run
In the Open field type D:\SETUP.EXE
If your CD-ROM drive letter is not D, replace D with your CD-ROM's drive letter. Click OK to continue.
- Read the information on the Welcome window and click Next. Review the installation notes on the Information window and click Next.
- On the Choose Destination Location window, we recommend that you use the default directory:
C:\PCAWIN. Click Next to continue.

- Setup will display the Setup Type window. We suggest you select Typical, unless you are already familiar with the program and know that you need one of the other options. Click Next to continue.

- When Setup displays the Select Program Folder window, click Next to use the default folder name. Setup will start installing files and display the progress bar graph meter.
- When Setup displays the Setup Complete window, insert the PC Access 4.30 Disk 1 into your computer's disk drive.
