Getting Started Guide
for PC Access
Sample Maestro Search
After you connect to your Maestro MLS system, PC Access displays your MLS system's Main Menu window.
If you need assistance dialing into your MLS, see: Dialing in for the First Time.
Follow the instructions below to search for listings.
- From the Main Menu select Search for Listings.

- On the Search sub-menu select the option to search for residential listings. On most Maestro systems this is 1-RES.
- If Maestro displays a Search Function sub-menu, select New to begin a new search.

- On the Enter Search Criteria window, fill in the fields. Press Tab to move to the next field. You do not need to fill in every field on the screen. Most Maestro systems will allow you to complete just the Status, Property Type, Area and Price fields. Contact your MLS if you have any questions about this screen.
If you need help with a particular field, click the field once, then point your mouse at the blinking cursor. Click once when the mouse cursor turns into a combination arrow/question mark symbol. This will open the Maestro help screen for this field. If the field only allows values from a predefined list, Maestro will display a list of values. Select the value(s) you want and press F8.
- After you define your search criteria, press F8 to start the search. The number of listings that match your search criteria will appear near the bottom of the window.
- If you would like to see the listings that match your search criteria, click Search. If there are no matches or too many matches click Modify to change your search criteria.
- If Maestro displays a Sort Output menu, select the Standard sort.
- On the Matches menu select Browse. Maestro displays a one-line report of your listings. To view detailed information for a particular listing, click on it once to highlight it.

- Click or press F7 to see the listing's details. Click or press F9 to see a photo of this listing.

- You can press Enter to return to the Browse screen.
- After you review the listings, tag the listings you want to print by double clicking on them. An
X will appear to the left of each listing you tag. If you want all of the listings, do not tag any of them. If you do not tag any listings, Maestro assumes you want all of them. To print the listings you tagged, click F6; or click F8 to view other options.
- If you would like to e-mail a listing, right-click (i.e., press the right mouse button) on the listing to display a pop-up menu. From the pop-up menu select Internet E-Mail Listing and Full Photo.

To learn how to send a listing via e-mail, see: Send Listings via E-mail.
- When you finish, click the Bye button on the PC Access for Windows toolbar.
