This column of fields lets you type in the text each button will send to the MLS when you click it with the mouse during an online session. PC Access has no way to check if you have typed in a valid MLS command. Therefore, you are responsible for reading your MLS documentation to learn valid MLS commands.
Follow these rules for sending special character sequences:
· To send a "control" character, type a caret (^) character followed by an uppercase letter. For example, if you want to send a ctrl-M character, type ^M.
¨ The ctrl-M character is equivalent to pressing the Enter key after you type a command to the host. Therefore, if a particular host command requires you to press the Enter key to finish the command, you'll need a ^M at the end of the button's Send Text field.
· If you want to send the caret itself, type these two characters together: ^~
· To send a function key, enter ^f followed by the function key number. For example, ^f1 sends the F1 key.
· To play a script file, enter ^s= followed by the script file name. For example, ^s=TEST.SCR plays the script file TEST.SCR.
