Playing Back Script Files

A speed button can also play back a script file. To do this, you must edit the Send Text for the speed button to specify the script file you want to play. In the Send Text field, you must prefix the script file name with the following sequence of characters:

^s=

The letter 's' must be in lowercase. For example, to play the script file TEST.SCR, enter the following string in the Send Text field:

^s=TEST.SCR

When you click the speed button on the Terminal window during an on-line session, PC Access searches the current agent's Home Directory for the script file. If the script file does not exist, PC Access displays an error message.

To specify a script file that every agent can run (if you have an Office/Broker version of PC Access), type a string like the following in the Send Text field:

^s=..\TEST.SCR

This tells PC Access to look in the parent directory of the current agent's Home Directory for the script file. That directory is the PC Access executable directory .
