The Phone Book Setup window appears when you click the Phone Book button on the Advanced Setup Menu window. The Phone Book Setup window lets you maintain a directory of remote service names, with telephone numbers and communication setup parameters specific to each. You select from these entries when you dial out with the Phone Book button on the Main Menu window. (If you use PC Access to call only one MLS, you do not need to set up any Phone Book entries.)
The window displays the service names you have entered so far. The list of service names is scrollable; you can manipulate the scroll bar with the mouse if your current list is too long to display all at once. A highlight bar marks the current entry in the list.
The Phone Book Setup window has these buttons:
· Add: Click this button to add a new entry to the phone book.
· Delete: Click this button to delete the current entry.
· Edit: Click this button to edit the current entry. You must have at least one entry in the phone book, and the highlight bar must be on it, before you can use this button.
· Copy: Click this button to copy the current entry to a new entry in the phone book. The new entry initially has all its setup items equal to those of the current entry, except for the Service Name, which is blank. For example, you may use the Copy button to create phone book entries that:
¨ Play back comdebug files; and
¨ Run auto-logon scripts.
If you click the Add or Copy button, the Add Phone Book Entry window appears. (If you click the Edit button, the same window appears with the title Edit Phone Book Entry.) This is a complicated window similar to the MLS Setup window.
· Close: Click this button when you finish editing or viewing phone book entries.
