No default Windows printer

PC Access for Windows requires that you set up a default printer in the Windows Control Panel. If you are using PC Access for Windows on a PC that has no printer, you must set up a Windows printer that prints to a file. To do this, double-click the Control Panel icon in your Main Program Manager group. When the Control Panel window opens, double-click the Printers icon. Click the Add button and select a printer (the Generic / Text Only printer is a good choice). Now click the Connect button and scroll down through the Ports list until you see the word FILE:. Select FILE: and click OK. Click the Default button. Finally, click the Close button. You should now have a default printer for Windows. It will not print to your printer port, so you don't actually have to have a physical printer.

After you specify a default Windows printer, you should set this as your default PC Access printer. To do this, open the Printer Setup window. Click the Add button and select your default Windows printer. Return to the Printer Setup window and click the Set button.
