Write protect error

(Contents)(Previous)(Next)

When you install PC Access or reset your user authorization, you must insert your PC Access distribution diskette number one into your diskette drive. PC Access needs to update files on this diskette, so make sure you have not write protected the diskette. On a 3.5" diskette, the write protect tab is a small plastic square that moves in a slot. When you look at the diskette case from the front (where the label is visible), you should not be able to see through the square cutout in the upper-right corner of the case. If you can see through the square cutout, push the write protect tab down so it blocks the cutout. Your diskette is now write enabled. Insert it in your diskette drive and repeat the operation that gave you this error.
