Assign an agent password here. This is not the agent's MLS Password for logging into the MLS.
You should tell this password only to the agent. Agents will have to enter their passwords whenever they begin sessions with PC Access. This prevents unauthorized persons from using an agent's MLS account.
If you don't assign an agent password, the agent can assign their own password by clicking the Edit button on the Agent List window. This allows the agent to assign a password to protect their personal settings.
If an agent has a password assigned, PC Access prompts for the password whenever someone tries to select or edit that agent's entry in the Agent List window. Also, the agent's entry on the Agent List window will have an asterisk next to it.
This password restriction does not apply for agent records you edit from the Agent Setup window. This lets the System Administrator see an agent's password should the agent forget it. Thus, to stop agents from seeing each other's passwords, the System Administrator should assign an Administrator Password on the Defaults Setup window.
