Overview: Typographic Conventions

(Contents)(Previous)(Next)

This help file uses special typefaces to identify some things:

Arial Bold indicates the titles of various things you see as you run PC Access: windows, window controls such as buttons, or editable fields. We also use it for section headings and list paragraph headings.

Courier Bold indicates filenames, DOS command names, script language commands, names of keys on your keyboard, text you type, or text the computer displays to you. Each URL also appears in Courier Bold.

Courier indicates longer samples of text you type, such as script file examples.

Italics indicates a first occurrence of a new term, information requiring special emphasis (such as a warning), or the title of a help topic, book, or document.
